As soon as it is passed by tho Public Works Department it will be put into commission. ■ The. Methodist District Synod concluded today. Returns tabled show that thore are 53 churches in the an' increase of three for the' year, with tho immediate .erection of churches at Ohura and Taumarunui in prospect. There are 90 preaching places and 67 Sunday schools.
