A meeting of the council of the K.Zj Amateur Athletic, Association was held at thp office of the secretary (Mr. W. G.Talbot) laiit ovoning, Mr. W. F. Larkin presiding. There were also present: Messrs. H. §. Robinson, A. Davis, E. L. Chaffey, W. H. Pollock, and C. E. Bridge, Reinstatements wcro granted to the follow! ing:—Cecil Honry Mason, Thomas F. Day, Henry Gardner (from January 1, 1309), Clarence H. Robinson, Charles Bearslcy, H. C, Belcher, H. A. Thompson, William J. Minoguc,, and R. Moxham. An application from W. H. Edwards iras referred to the Australian Union as a special case. Arthur W. Hall's and K. W. Eglinton's applications wcro referred back for further particulars. A, discussion arose on the proposed reinstatement of. T. \V. Leslie. As ho has received money for training, objection was taken, as this was ngaiiv>t the rules. Mr. Bridge moved that Leslie be''reinstated as from May, 1010. As there was some uncertainty as to the o.Taot dato of tho occurrence, tho application was held over until next mooting.
