Tho Convention of tho American Federation of Labour, now sitting at Toronto, considered the Bucks Stove Range boycott cose, in which Judge Wright ■ sentenced Samuel Gompcrs (President of tho American Federation of Labour), John Mitchell (vice-president), and Frank Morrison (secretary), to twelve, nino, and sis months' imprisonment respectively for contempt of Court in publishing the name of the Bucks Stovo Range Company in the federation's "wo don't patronise" list, after being ordered by the Court not to do so. The defendants are at , liberty,, pending a further appeal to the United States Supremo Court.
