Paulhan, on board, his Voism biplane, has beaten the 'altitude tecord (1350 ft.) made by Mr. Latham en his Antoiriotte monoplane. in a flight at Chalons camp, M. Paulhan ascended to a height of 1950 ft., a world's record for a hoauor-than-air machine.
