SCALE OP CHARGES. Tho following scale of charges has been drawn up for'tho 1 working'oi tho Wellington • municipal abattoir at Ng&haurauga, which building is to bo formally opcrcd by tho Mayor ,\ on Friday afternoon. For every head of large cattle olncr than calves less than "2001b. in. weight:—Use of abattoir, 25.; taking delivery at salo yards or railway sidhi'!} and driving to ' abattoir, Gd. lier head; yard ng or paddocking for moro than 24.hours, including fodder, ' Gd. per boad\per clay, or'part of a day; slaughtering, 3s. sa. per head. For overy calf tho chiirgo for tho use of tho abattoir will bo ls.j taking delivery and driving to abattoir will cost Gd. per head, and yarding, etc., for more than,24 hours will bo Id.'per head per day. Tho "ilaughtering chargo up to 1001b. weight will bo Is. 3d. per head, and for calves 1001b. to 2001b. in'weight a chargo of Is. Od. •will bo I made. Tho fee for tho ( uao of otlio abattoir ' for every cheep and lamb has been fixed at 4d., whilst 2s. Gd. will bo oharged for taking delivery of ovory mob of 50 or loss at the Ealeyards or railway tiding and driving them totho abattoir. Yarding or paddocking for every dozen sheop and lambs, for more than 24 hours,, including fodder, will cost 6d. per day. Slaughtering will, cost Gd. per head, and 2d. eitrj each will bo charged for backsetting lambs. Fancy-dressing will bo a matter of special ar. , rangomont with the butchers. Tho uso of tho abattoir for every pig will cost Is. Gd. Taking delivery, etc., will cost " • 2s. per dozen, and yarding on tho 6amo terms , as sheep, will bo 2d. Tho slaughtering charge ' for pigs up I to 1501b. weight will bo Is. 3d, per head, and for pigs over 1501b. weight 2s.' per head. , '[ Tho foes to bo charged I for meat sold in the city, that has been killed at a licensed meat export slaughterhouse outsido of tho city of Wellington, will, as provided by Section 2" of the Slaughtering .and Inspection Act, ,liMB, , . be as follow:—Largo cat+le, Is.
