Duncan and Kutherfurd w.ere tho only men. among tho losers to put up a stand. Both in their singles and : double. they ran their opponents into three sets, and, in the double, had , hard luck when leading (5—3) in-the third set in not scoring a win.. -■.'■.:■■..>■• The Khandallahv. Bidwill Street match was unfinished,' but Khandallah won eight of the thirteen rubbers played,' after losing two of theMadies' games by default.. Correll, who played for Brougham Hill three seasons ago, and Miss Shaw, were, tho Only Bidwill Street players to win on play. , v Mr. H. A. Bobertson, who held the positions of secretary to the Karori Club, member.of the Management Committee of the association, and secretary of the Shield Committee, has been transferred to Christchurch. ...'.'• The Wellington Association has been invited by the N.Z.
