In-.the sweet pea glasses, Miss ;V. Tyer secured tho special prize awarded by Mrs. Jno. Cundy for most points. Mr. , A..Booth,of "Hawardon," Car-terton, won the rose-bowl presented by Mr. W. C. Buchanan for the most-points in;roses, while the special, prize for tho beet rase in the room was awarded'to Mr. Q. Donald. Mrs. Elgar presented a silver vase for the highest pointe in the vegetable, class, and this was won-by Mrs. G. T._ Stewart,. of .'tie, Maire." The tea-rooms were "well patronised,' iha takings' amounting to £12 2s. 3d. , During the evening a concert organised by Dr. Palmer and Mr. G: Fenwick was given. . The programme was a repetition of that given at ; the recent echool concert, and was splendidly received by tho audience. Mr. H. A. Bagley received an .. imperaiive encore for "I'm afraid to go home in the dark," and had to respond with another vorse. Miss Wilkinson sang "Loch Lomond,": and as an enoore "Cdmin ,, Through the Ryo." She has a :very true,, clear -voice, and her rendering of Scotch songs is.vefy pleasing. The society anticip'atee clearing between .£25 or .£3O on the show. On Monday night -the male members of the Glee Club intend entertaining tho ladies of the club and Dr. Palmer to a musical evening in tho.Masonio HalL Mr.' J. W. Card will preside.-."
