■WELLINGTON' CLUB. ' Tho Wellington Swimming Club'got off its first club race yesterday evening at the To Aro Baths. Tho distanco was 50 yards and resulted as undor:— First heati E. Lovy,.ssec, 1; It. Evenson, Gsoo,, 2 j G. H. Neal, 6sec, 3. Time, 33 2-ssoc. Also started: 11. V. Gandy, J. Dovin, and A. M'Loan. Second heat: C. Ward, scr., 1; W. Dndson, 6trr„ 2; J. Aston, 3seo., 3. Timo, 313-ssec. Also started: W. Wilton, J. Stratford, A. Randall, J. Kobinson, N. Watson, and B. O'Neill. Final: E. Evenson, 1; E. Levy, 2; J. Stratford. 3, Time, S5 8-ssec. Delanoy, who camo late' swam over tho courso and was allowed to swim in the final. Stratford was blocked by Aston and was also allowed to swim in tho final. Noal and Aston did not compete in tho colluding heat.
