Tho Union Company's training ship Dartford, bound from Lyttelton to Newcastle, was obgorved oil Island Say on Sunday afternoon. She csino within five miles of the coast and then headed- westward. Yesterday the Government steamer Hinemoa was at Monukau Harbour attending to tho buoys. She is due at Wellington on Thursday, and will then leave for Oapo OampboU, tho Brothers, and Oape Palliser. At Oapo Palliscr Lighthouse she will land Principal Llght-kcepcr Hanson, of Tlritirl, who takes tho place of Principal' Light-keeper Wakofielfl, transferred to Kaipiira.
