Considerable interest was evinced by sheepfarmers throughout this district in the election of five members of. the Hawke's Bay, Rabbit Board. Tho poll, which was Announced to-day, resulted in nil' tho old members : being . reelected, with the exception of Mr. Pharazyn, who gives place to Mr. W. G. Stead. The following are tho details of the voting:—M'Hardy, 258 - rotest Shrimpton,: 2281 Stead, 183: ;• Clark, 176; Bennett, 1741 Pharaiyri, 155: Heri lck, 152; M'Donald,.ll9; Bcrkshn, 40. Informal, 3. Tho first fivo,have been declared elected.
