Cusack presided over a large gathering. : Mr. A.-. H. Fullford, president of the association,', presented, the, trophies—tho G. T. White. Cun.going to the "Artillery, A -(jeani, and seven medals, won' at the, receKt=seven-a-side tournament,'going to .the'following members of the Eakeha'teAm:—Messrs.' J: M'Eldowney, A. ;N.. Thomson,' A. E..' Keos, L. Jackso'u, U.. Haa>e,..A.;..S. Smith, and;J,. Ellison. : ■■- The' toast!;of-the ; association, was proposed by' Mr. M. O'Kane.■.:, . In reply, Mr. C. •J; Pfaff, the secretary, remarked that .one .thing .was.vto, be regretted. Although the association consisted of ten good teams, they were not accepted by' the New Zealand/Association when' .they applied' for affiliation. _ This meant' that they could/- not take part in representative.matohes, He hoped that the: disability would be ■ removed next year.', . •/ ;,. ■• .'•;•','.■; ' -."'■■•■ ■;. ; v v The toast 'of■• the Referees' -Associationwas proposed by: Mr. Crouch, and responded; to by Mr. G.
