The Auckland Rugby League have been advised by the secretary of the English Northern Rugby Football-Union, that : they-have been affiliated to . that,body. In his ..letter, the secrotary ■' states that • tho .English.. Union. will recognise the Auckland League as the governing 'body- in :New ,: Zealand,: and -no - visiting .. New Zealand teams will be acceptable to the English authorities except those phmng under the auspices of the Auckland body. All players also who wish to sign on for English clubs will now require a transfer from tho Auckland Leaguo before. thoy .wiir be allowed to play for any club in tho Old Country. ' - i H. Todd will net as delegate for the Auckland body on the, English Union.' .
