Tho question of making inquiries, into tho details of the military services of Mr. H.: W. .Northcroft, S.M., ono.of tho Auckland Magistrates, with the view of conferring the , New Zealand Cross upon him- for distinguished bravery, is being urged upon the Government by Mr. Bollard (Eden). In referring to tho subject yesterday, ilr.
