BURGLARS AT EKETAHUNA.
THE STATION. SUFFERS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) ' '"•'■' Eketahuna, October 27. ;■ The Tailwny station, and'Eketahiina Farmers' .Co-operative Association store were burgled at a late hour Inst night. In both cases the windows had been prised open with a jemmy or similar. instrument, to effect an entrance. At the railway station two tills wero broken open and 3s. 6d, obtained. Tho safe was untouched. Drawers were opened and papers scattered. At thoE.F.C.A. the office was ransacked and one pound in silver taken from a till; also two pairs of boots, a pair of leggings, and a number of. pairs of socks.
