LORDS' TREATMENT OF PURCHASE BILL NOT A FINAL SOLUTION, .NATIONALISTS WILL ASK FOE MORE. (By Telegraph—Prcas . Aasoclatlon-Copyrigni.l London, October 20. Tho House of Lords has passed tho Irish Land Purchase Bill. The Earl of Crtwc, Liberal Leader in tho Upper House, declared that after the amendments introduced by tho Lords, the Bill was no longer a final solution of the Jand question, as tho Government had intended it to be. Tho safeguards introduced would cause tho Irish to demand further amendments. The Marquis of Lansdowne, Opposition Leader, said tho Government must recollect that tho Lords were asked to put into shape a measure containing an extraordinary collection of ill-thought-out and imperfectly disousscd proposals, based upon an attempt to include anything the Nationalists suggested.
