OPENS AT LEVIN TO-MORROW. ■ The Otaki Maori Racing Club's spring meeting opens at Loyin to-morrow, and, on account Of the holiday, is sure to be well patronised by followers of the sport in the city and in the country. The fixture'is usually held at Otaki, ■but as.-tho club's lease of the old..racecourse has expired, and as the new course is not yet ready for. racing,. the-club has decided to hold lt-on the Horowhomia'Racing Club's.course at Levin. The course is within easy distance of the station; and is'well adaptc6\for good racing.- Excellent acceptances have."been received for the different events on to-morrow's card, and as some first-class performers are en : gaged it only requires favourable ■ weather to make' the fixture a success.
