A RATHER SERIOUS HITCH. ; LARGER DOCKS NEEDED.; WHERE SHALL THE VESSELS BE BUILT? IDy Telcirapb.-rrM» iuoeliitlon.-CoojrlthtJ : v ■■■■■■■■■ '. . London, October S. According to the Ottawa'-correspondent' i'f [The Times," a rather serious hitch has arisen in reference to graving docks. The Admiralty urges the .construction of larger docks on both seaboards, &s'more esssntial from an Imperial standpoint than the creation of a local fleet. Tie; Esquimalt dock is considered too much exposed,.. and .a, lifer and larger dock in British Columbia is necessary. Similarly, the dook at Halifax is con-sidered-too small .for .Dreadnbughts. '. . The question whether .'war. .vessels shall be built in Canada is excitingdiscussion. Thie will greatly enhance x the cost, but many leaders of public.opinion hold-that the money must be spent in Canada if ihe'.navdl sclwme is to be. made popular. '■ ; ..'/ ,
