FUTILE SEARCH BY THE PERICLES. (By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright.) Molbourne, October t. A systematic search for the missing liner Waratah was made by tho steamer Pericles,over a course not traversed by previous searching vessels. The search proved futile. [The Union Castle liner Sabine, which left Capo Town about September 10, is still searching for the Waratah, and arrangements have been made for tho Sabino to search if necessary for thrco months. Tho Sabino has a powerful searchlight.]
