, The club was represented in tho-New- Zea-> land Water Polo .Championship at Tima'ra, bilt' as three of the original team wore unable to, secure the necessary leave, • emergency men ; had to be solected. ■ In the final garoo the' Swifts . were beaten-by a team representing the-Can-torbury Centre by five goals to throe. At tho Wellington Centre's championship carnival B. C. Freyberg swam second to;R. Healy. in the Mi Yards Championship and third to the 100 Yards.- Previous to this'the rocord for tha ; length of. the TeAro^'Baths (50 yards) was' lowered by Freyberg to Msec;,. a performance' l which will, probably stands for; some' time.
