Telegraph Department, filed off for tho Empire Postal Matoh, a th.-ce-rango contest at'2oo," 500 and 600 yards, instituted in 1900, and open to city postal departments throughout tho Empire. The weather was fine, although a slight drizzle spoilt tho light at 200 yards range. Tho conditions were very good at 500 yards, but at 600 yards tho light was rather changeable.
