The Court suspended the certificates of the captain 'and, the chief officer for a year, and reprimanded the third, officer. .[lt was cabled on September 17 that the steamer TJmhlali, 3388 tons, with a passengers onboard, was completely wrecked at Capo Point, South Africa, having struck "in calm water, with a little fog." ,&* passengers took to the boats, one of wWoh was overturned, a baby being drowned.
