There wns a largo at His Majesty's Theatro last ovening, when the programme'of Royal Pictures,'which has been running all the week, was given for the last time. "A Bachelor's Honeymoon," which will be produced by Mr. Hush Ward's Company at the Opera House next Saturday night, is said to bo one of the niost successful productions' of "the farcical description given to date. , It is a travesty on familiar types of character and -well-known phases of social life. This will bo-the last opportunity of hearing tho brilliant entertainer, as he sails for Canada, at tho end of October. A Christchureh paper remarks: "Bengough is pre-eminently a man of fun, ~Ho seems to be somewhat in the nature of a storehouse, into , which has. been garnered a vast wealth of, funny stories, smart sayinps and witty Americanisms.
