SAILORS' REST.

The Sailors' Rest -was well-attended last night, the occasion being a concert given under tho auspices of tho ■ Wellington Catholic Seamen's Conference. A varied programme was submitted, and was well received by tho Seamen presont. Songs were contributed by" Miss Trcgonning, Mr. F. Cooze, Mr. Bolger, Miss M. .Sullivan, Mr, S. Brown, Mr. A. Hickniott; Miss E. Bowden/Mr. Talvey, Miss Perry, Mr. Jionnerj Miss Wilson, and Misses Cole; recitations by Mr. Hoinlz, \nnd Miss'D. Guiso; a Hutch speciality by''.Miss E. Scanlonj piano solo by Mrs. Cole, and a violin 6010 by Mr. V. G. Cole. A special featuro of tho programme was a comic turn rendered by Mossrs.
