THE SECOND BALLOT ACT.
v .SOME-.ERRONEODS.IMPRESSIONS! ' -V -■'Not a few' electors, are quite in'the dark as .to tho working of the Second.Ballot Act. Only ; an elderly elector was heard to remark : that he would hot need to vote 'again as he voted on the occasion;.of the first ballot! Then there arei some .electors' who'are under; the erroneous impression that only .those--'who voted for; defeated candidates'have the right to vote next Thursday. Others again wrongly snpposethat as they did not vote last Thursday they will not be permitted'to do so in connection with the final-ballot. "It cannot be ;too. strongly impressed on electors that their-vote on;, the' occasion of the first ballot does not now count, and that all electors on the .roll can .vote. Regarding -the question 'of:., voting, it;may_ be mentioned' that it is alleged-that more, than one disqualified person voted at the first ■ballot/ A. watch will be kept (it is understood) on ; this.:occasion, With ,a view of;. seeing oil any improper ■ voting takes • place. ■'. ■'■';.. - ,\-
