At ono v o'clock this morning, it tno-sloried building known as the Picton Tea' Kiosk, m Wolliugton Street, nas destroyed by fire. Tho occupants had to bo rescued over a balcony, so groat was the hold of the firo when the alarm was grven. The building was erected two years ago by Mr. A. C. Nicoll, and was occupied by Miss Nicoll as dining rooms. Good uork by tho brigade and a plentiful supply of (yator sa\ed tho adjacent building.
