/THE WELLINGTON CENTRE. DRAWINGS FOR INTEE-CLUB MATCHES. ■■ The first, annual meeting .of delegates to the ■Wellington Bowling Centre, as reconstituted, was held in tho ipavilion of the-.Wellington Bowling Club last-evening, about fifteen dclo■gatog .attending. Mr.T.- Bush (Wellington) was voted to the chair. . • .' ■ - i TKo seorctary-(Mr/ T. L. Churchward) re-' .ported'that-the. past season had been a record one aa•for-as:tins-work of .'.dolcgates was concerned. Ihp tournaments had allbeeusiiccscsful; that at Easter .was.rather late, but, notwithstanding the wef weather, tho games had been got through satisfactorily.! Messrs E. W. Hills and Company had promised four pairs of Jacques s bowls for competition at tho next .tournament, and Jlr. Flyer had also promised W n iv lc y ilow to > n <» - ne would suggest tho games ill heads, instead of IG, for the forthcoming tournaments. Of course, this ;would curtail tho number of games, but tho secretary considered that'it would give moro' satisfaction. An application for, affiliation had been received from Tβ Hiwi Club, at Island Bay, 1 and other applications wero expected from Eastkmrno and Khaiuhllnh. Churchward as lion, secretary and treasurer. . Mr. Churchward, in,thanking the delegates, , said that the positions of secretary .and treasurer need not be separated, as tho centre endeavoured to-get along with as little expense as possible.
