Lopukbin, formerly 'chief 6( the Russian policq, who was sentenced to exile for treason, has started for Yakutsk, his place, of exilo. Hiß wife and brother-in-law accompany him. ' ' , , M. Lopukhin, on being charged with treason in having betrayed Azeff, an agent of the secret police, to the revolutionaries, protested that he acted in the interests of humanity. He was sentenced td five sears' imprisonment, which was commuted to transportation to Siberia.
