METHODIST ASSEMBLY.
THE DELEGATES. (By Telegraph.-l'resa Asioclailea -OoDTMebl I London, August 27. Five branches of the Methodist Church will bo represented at the Methodist Assembly in London in October next. The 'Wesleyans will send 276 delegates, the Primitive Methodists 112, the Eeform Union 6, and the Independent Methodists 6. x An assembly, or united gathering of all the Methodist churches is to bo held in tho early bcott Lidgott is secretary of the committee of arrangements. It will meet for "united dovotion, with a view to mutual counsel and concerted action in regard to the spiritual and social tasks which nro kid upon Methodism, excluding all questions of polity and of party politics.' 7 There will be 500 delegates.'
