SPIRITUALISM.

■ At the New Century Hall .on Saturday, an afternoon tea wae given by Mr. W. M'Lean to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bailey. A large number of peoplo who attended at Friday's "circle" were pwsent, and the function was a very successful one. Iho hall was decorated with flowers, and to add to the interest of tho gathering, the "apports" —birds, etc. —produced at the recent seances were exhibited. There.was also on view a stone tablet, said to bo an "apport" produced in Mr. M'Lean's residence, and this, with a "Tissot" 'picture and photographs, were examined with interest. Last evening, at'the Now Century Hall, Mr. Bailey, medium, under "control" by "Professor DentonJ" cave an address on Spiritualism. The hall was packed to tho doors, and numbers had to bo turned away. The address, a dissertation on tho ethical aspects of Spiritualism, its objects, and Scriptural authority, was attentively listened' to. There wero no questions or "messages."
