The committee'of' tho Oroua Tennis Club decided to hold the annual meeting of the club on September 2, and to open the eourts on Wednesday, October 6. i A five-roomed cottage, owned by Miss Coombo, and occupied' by Mr. E. G. Anderson, situated on Makino Road, was totally destroyed by fire at an early hour yesterday morning. Mr.. Anderson was asleep in the house at the timo the fire was discovered.
