WELLINGTON WOOLLEN COMPANY. Tho balance-sheet of the Wellington Woollen Company for the year onded July; 31 was, circulated yesterday. Tho cross profits for tho year amounted to £18,194 12s. 3d., and a sum of £58 6s. 6d. was received as rent; and transfer feos, making tho total receipts-£18,252 18s. 9d. Tho expenses. Including maintenance, bad debts' provision, directors' and .auditors' feos, etc.; amounted to £12,026 15s. 2d., equal to nearly 65 per cent, of tho incomo, and lcavini? a balance of £5226 3s. ,?d., out, of which £1000 has been allowed for doptccifition of plant, and ££226 3s.'ld. carriol to appropriation account. The amount -brought forward from tho provlouß year was '£6105 153.,' so 1 that £11,331 IBs. 7d.'is availablo for appropriation. Tho dividend for iho year at tho rato of 6 per cent, .on, tho paid-up capital absorbs £6114 15s. 7d„ and, as a precautionary measure, after deducting' the customary discounts, £2000 has been written off the warehouse .stock, leaving £3217-, 3s. to. bo carried, forward.
