Board, the Gloucestershire ; professional, as coach, the: following particulars are interesting:— J. H. , Board .visited Australia, with A. E. Stoddirt in the 1897-98-'seasori, second string to W. Storer. Board has been associated with .the Western .County sinoo 1891. During his : career he has frequently topped the 1000 mark. The beat effort of Board's Was, his score .of .214;on;the Bristol wicket at the exponso of the Somerset bowlers. During the past fivo■ seasons lie has stumped 100 batsmen in. first-class matchos.
