E.'Orchard, of Christchurch, who arrived by the Corinthic, will 'spend about ten weeks over here, aud occupy, part of the time in a.' tour round the south coast on a motor bicycle.V He: loaveß : - for New Zealand by the Tainui. on.August 19. ..' '• ".' • Mr. Henry A.Owen,iof-Christchurch,-who, arrived at Southampton on" Juno 3, has been visiting Canterbury, Banbury, 1 and Coventry, to stay .with friends., Afterwards he: will visit Peterborough, Birmingham, _ and Plymouth, spend a fortnight or so in London, and leave for New Zealand on August 6; Mr. and Mrs. John Stewart, of Auckland, have arrived in.London,' via Canada, on'a round-the-world pleasure;tour, extending over a period of 13 or 14 months. They will visit, Norway, Scotland, and Ireland, - and afterwards tour in France,' Switzerland, and Italy. On the homeward journey they propose tospend a month in Egypt and Palestine, and a fortnight in Ceylon.
