.Messrs.;lF. E. Jackson and Company's alock report, for tho week iB as follows;— At tho Wanganul sale on August 18 wo yarded 706 ! head mixed cattle, 800 sheep, and 130 pigs. Although tho weather was very boisterous, wo had a good attendance of buyers. Very few wore ahoep yarded. ' Wo sold a fair proportion of the cattle, prices, being easier. Pigs sold. In vendors' favour. At Waverley on August 20 we yarded .520 cattle, 530 sheop, and'3o nlgo, Tho attendance was good. Cattle sold well, according to quality, and all yarded sold with tho oxception of a few odd lots at satisfactory values. A small' entry of shtcp sola at ruling prices. , Pigs in , good demand.
