south aro blighted this season, but tho affection is a much milder one than tho Irish blight, and tho losses insignificant as compared to what thoy wcro three years ago. Tho prices toll tho talo. Good table varioties can bo purchased at the produco exchange at from 4s. to,ss. (for Derwonts) per cvrt. The purchaser may;,loso 5 per cent, of,his purchase through blight, but, if he sorts his sack at once, ho will not, 'if ordinarily fortunate, lose more.
