(1) Officers drawing salaries ■ not 'ex- '; . . ceeding .£4OO per annum ;.. 10' 0 (2) Officers drawing salaries exceeding ; • ' .£4OO per annum ....;.. : 12 6 (3) While at sea,- -' ■• • : For the first day—The ordinary, on-shore -allowance, ' ■For subsequent days ..„ ~. 2 6; For' the last day's travelling actual expenses only will bo paid. -• , •The cost- of transport by land and sea will be paid by the Department'. Officers performing,, relieving' duty are not entitled - to draw travelling allowanco; under this regulation for any time -during; which ,they" perform tmch relieving duty, .'except as ifollowst—When.'in performing relieving duty, ; an officer is j not required to .stay more than, ■ ithveo'nights in the place where such'duty'is performed, ho may olaim to be paid travelliugnllowance instead: of relieving-allowance if his accommodation for the tune of his stay; is not fully paid for by the-relieving-allpw- .
