The annual renort of the Gro)tonn-Wai-rarapa Co-operative Dairy Companj piesented to sharehplders at Grejtonn x last states that tho amount advanced to tlio suppliers duiing the season at lid per lb butter-fat has amounted to £10,043 !js 8d , and to this must now be added tho amount £1598 lib , making a total pf 041, 19s Bd., which will equal Is per lb butter-fat pvrr the 'vliplo pf tho seaeplj During the season tho aluount of milk-re-ceued «as 5,62j,6951b, being an increase of 1,211,9i31b on the previous jear The butter-fat amounted to 219,2491b., as against 164,8971b last season The average test fet tho season was 3 98, the lug Lost 5 6, and the kmost 3.1 Tho quanta of milk to each lb. pf cheese was 10 04 Each peund of butr ter-fat made an Average of 2 551b of cheese Of tho 250 tons of cheese made (an increase of 58i pn last spason), 235| tons were consigned to the Home market (through Messrs oetz.es and Gernt6on), and the balance wa-s used for local demands. Tho average pneo realised was 62s per ewte Mr T. C. Irving, the manager, has been very successful with his oxhibits, having won the challenge cup at the Palmerston North Show, and! also taken prices at Carterton' and Mastorton Shews At the meeting about' 26 members were present, and Mi. J. Hodgo was elected chairman. Messrs. J. 13. Bnckell and H. Feast re-elected diroctois. It was resolved that the company donate Is. per member to the Pastoral and Agricultural So-, cietj for the butter-fat competition. The factory is to be open e<l en August 23, which is\)no week earhci than the opening dato of last yeai. Mi. Mark Ma\ton was again elected auditor. BUSH "DISTRICTS A. AND P. ASSOCIATION. The Genera! Committee of the Bush Districts A. and P Association met on Monday evening, Mr. R. E Beattio presiding Tho secretary reppited having attended the last conference held at Palmerston Nerth as 'one pf the delegates representing tho Bush Districts Association. Several residents from the district were I nominated as judges for tho various classee of stock, and tho names will'bo forwarded to tho cecretary of tho A. and P. Association, Palmerston North, in accordance-with a request that a complete list of all judges agreeable to act for tho Noith Island' bo i compiled Mr. M'Rao and Mr. J. Vealo" were proposed foi membership. It was decided to hold the uetft show on January 26, 1910, this date not being likely to clash' Mith other fixtures.
