The official inquiry into tho wreck of the Shaw Savill, and Albion Company's Maori (lost at Duiker Point, two drowned; thirty missing) arrived at the conclusion that tho cause of the' disaster was an abnormal inset duo to a heavy gale. . . Captain Nicole and the officers were exonerated. ■ t . NAMES OF THE MISSING. In reply to further, inquiry as to the names of thoss missing in the wreck of tho Maori, tho local agents of the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company are in receipt of a cable from.tlieir London olfine, stating that in addition to the two persons already advised as drowned, the following are missing:— Dock department: Captain G. Nicole, Messrs. ■ Pearce, Rowlinson, Probyn, 'Lines, Corbin, Stych, Inch, Hart, Pope, Gladman, Baitlett, Loncy, and Cos. ■Engine department: Messrs. , Calvert, Beak, ■Brady, : Attridge, Fenwick, Hooper, Gunn, Smith, Heighten, Goodwin, Wilson, and Tosdevin. Stewards'.-, department: Messrs. Hicks, Anderson, Addison, and Archer. ■It is feared that the.fato of the missing offers little room for hope; Those known to bo drowned arc Messrs.
