According to reports received hero from Canoa, the. Cretan Government intimates its resignation, owing to tbo failure of its efforts to persuade the military authorities to. lower the Greek.flag in the Canea fortress. More warships havo been ordered to Crete, with instructions to remove the flag unless the Cretans meantime remove it. Tho Greek newspapers unanimously, urge the Cretans to respect the wishes of ihe Powers. TRYINC POBITION OP THE CREEK OFFICERS. HAVE TO OPPOSE THEIR OWN FLAG. (Beo.
