New Zealand is undoubtedly one of : tho most, musical countries in the world, and, young as she is, flhe has forced her way into national prominence by virtue of the wonderful vocal superiority of her sons and daughters. The Dominion lias been aptly, truly termed , "The land of loveliness and song," and it is with a desire to cater for this increasing talent, and their phonographs and fecprds, that tho Anglo-Aus-tralian Importing Co., Sydney, has decided :to give away. "WITHOUT ANY COST OB FEli of any land, a ''CHAMPION" Phonograph to each applioant—an.. instrument which holds a guarantee of efficiency for five years, and capable "of teproducing THE VERY FINEST RECORDS at presont manufactured. , . ; We admire tho pluck with which the oompahy take-on-this large expense, but are assured that the end justifies the means, as large sales for both records and machines are thus created. *

Tho last importation of the ( Company, will be made tho subject of a free distribution (not a competition). Everyone has AN EQUAL CHANCE, the enly condition is that whoever applies must agree to use the records supplied, by the Company (which fit any machine).
