LODGE MEETING.

;-i'ho weekly-session; of-the Pioneer Lodge of Good Templars was held in the Rechabite. Hall, 'Manners Street, on Monday evening. Bro. 11./ Coulter, C.T., presided over .a; fair attendance. ' One member was re-adinitted. '. The newly-elected officers took their respective positions as follow :-r-C.T., Bro. E. Coulter (reelected); V.T.; Sister Kelly; secretary! Bro.-G. A: Petherick; treasurer, Bro. C. S. Kelly; F.S., Sister Millan; chaplain, Sister' Trott; marshal, Bro. Muirheal; sentinel, Bro. C. Ralph; registrar, Bro, C. S. Kelly; reporter, Bro. _Q. A. /Petherick; assistant secretary. Sister E.Wood; D.M;,' Sister Petherick. • Bro. J. M. Johnston, L.IX, then-" conducted tho -installation ceremony. -Tho officers'-reports,.-which showed the lodge to bo, in an- improved position, both financially.; and numerically, were, then- ;rend arid adopted, and 1 a harmony committee was • elected for the ensuing term. Individual members'of' the . lodge .were' responsible for tile 'programme;,of' tho evening, and the following contributed items:—Sister Barrett, Bro. Boyd, Bro. -Reid, Sister Trott, Bro. Bruce, and Sister Barrett. :On the motion of Bro. H. C.R'., presiding. 'Three new members were initiated into tho. Order. 1 .At tho. close of. business, a card : , tournament-' was held against the Loyal • Antipodean Lodge/ of Oddfellows,.- the tourney, resulting in a 'win'for the Antipodeans by six' ■games.
