The prizes in tho buttor-fat competition are- also liberal, as, in addition (to the challenge cup -'presented by the local dairy companies and prizo money amounting to £15, Messrs. D: Bufihanan, of Palmerston Norlh, and. E; Eagle, jun., of Belvedere, iha'vo promised a yearling .bull' each from their., wellknown herds.
