J:- Gaudin presiding Two new members.were initiated, and another •proposed for membership. Bro. Ward was appointed delegate to the Wellington Friendly Societies' Council. A gpjd .medal is to be presented to the member introducing -the most new members for the-'half-year endinc December-31, '1909; An I interesting discus-sion-took' placq new rule; which enables/members to insure for/£IOO at death arid the opinion was expressed'that representations should bo made to the English Board of .Directors of; the Order to New Zealand members to join their endowment • funds, by which mombors may insure .01 sums of £100 or £200, payable at death, or on reaching the age of forty, forty-five,'fifty fifty-fivo, sixty, or sixty-five. Prior to the adult Tent meeting, the juvenile branch was addressed by Bro. T. Fathers,' district secretary, the subject being, I'The Ancient ;Rechabites.".
