;._ With, the revival of the Ambulance and .First. Aid Classy and the inauguration of Boy Scouts, the institute, building in Arthur Street, which has long been'very much, over-crowded,' bas'becomo too small to hold tho' growing tendances. .The gymnasium in Douglas Wallace Street,-formerly, occupied.by''Messrs...Harrison -and Juriss, • has been secured ono night a'week.- The institute gymnasium classes will be consolidated and held on-the one night. •This. Will relieve the congestion. at the'building,, and enable new work to be considered. It will also enable the reading-room, whicli has "been closed since' the night-school was started,, to,' be opened again, and further pro'.™e a piece for the orchestra to practice in. While many boys havo moved away from tho. oi and others have been discharged ■on account of reaching the age-limit,- the membership, at the institute continues'to grow. At the beginning of the: season, plans for securing new'membors were made, but havo never been put into practice, for it has been hard to find places for all who came of their pwn accord.
