' :A-meeting iof, creditors in the bankrupt estate of William' Matthew Imrie, cutter, late of Carterton, Was held before the Deputy-Official Assignee (Mr. S. Tansley) yesterday. There were three creditors' representatives present. The bankrupt, who was represented by Mr. Lavery, stated that he had vacated a good position in India for reasons of health, and when lie'came to 'New'.Zealand' he was induced:,(m October, 1907), to purchase a tailoring business and .fittings for £20, in Cartorton.
