(By Teletrraph.—Preoo ABSoelatkrfU Creymouth, August 4. . The Police Commission sat'here for two hoursj a "d heard the evidence of constables,: two •sergeants, Inspector Black, and a detective. ' No complaints wore made, but representations were submitted for increased pay for constables, beginning at Bs., with increments up to 10s., with free uniform,: boots, and railway concessions during leave. The sergeants and inspector endorsed the claim of the men for improved pay, and also reported favourably on tho physique of the men on the coast. ■
