WELLINGTON CLUB. The third round of the ladies' club championship uero played on Tuesday mormug, and resulted as follows.— First-class Championship. Mrs. W. Tnrnbull beat Mrs. Hi Holmes, 3 up and 1 to plaj. Mrs. Guy Williams beat Mrs. W. Biduill, ' Miss W. Hannay beat Miss Bell, 2 up. Miss L. Brandon, beat Mrs. P. C. Frceth, 5 up arid 3 to play. Second-class Championship. Mis 3 G. Ewen beat Miss Ai Kennedy, 1 up. Miss A. Pearoe beat Miss V. Bell, 5 up and i to play. Miss E. Simpson beat Miss Fulton, 3 up and 1 to pl&y. Miss E. Watson boat Miss Wheeler, 2 tip and 1 to play. Tho semi-finals wero played in tho afternoon, and resulted as follow:— First-class. Mrs. Guy Williams beat Mrs. Tnrnbull, 6 up and 5 to play. Miss L. Brandon boat Miss Hanuay, 5 up nnd i to play. Second-class, Miss A. Pcarco beat Miss G. Ewen, 8 up and 7 to play. Miss E. Simpson beat Miss E. Watson, \ lip and 3 to play.
