Gibboi)B The, j)ngade w*cro quicklj on tho spot, ajid in less than ten minutes had the fire in hand, confining it to the three back rooms and passage upstairs, the Innng of which apartments were burned out An inspection pioved beyond question that the outbreak occuired the storeroom, the centre room of the three which flank the northern side of the building. In it were stoied bacon, hams, sugar, /tea, candlcß, soap, and other stores incidental to the restaurateur's business. All were destrojed. Mr. Gallate eaid that no one had visited the storeroom during the day, and ho could in no waj account tor the outbreak. Hie stores, furmtuie, and fittings were insured in the Atlas Office for £500.
