Two pounds neck and breast of mutton, 1 tablespponful of flour, 1 small carrot, 1 small turnip,'a little celery, 1 tablespoonful of dnpping, 1 onion, 1 tablespoonful tomato sauce, 1 pint stool: or water, salt and pepper to taste. Cut the meat into neat pieces, trim off tho fat. Slice tho vegetables. Melt the dripping in a etewpan, dredge tho m.oat with the flour, and fry a nice brown in the dripping; lift out of the pan and fry the vegetables a little; then put,all v the ingredients the 6tewpan, and simmer for U houis. All trimmings of fat should be rendered down. FOR TO-MORROW. Two pounds steak, 1 dozen oysters, Jib. suet, * ground rice, essence of vanilla, 2 eggs, stowed gooseberries.
