Eabbite are also preservablo moist, in which case they are packed in barrels, and under either process they will ke'op indefinitely. The scheme is considered to be'a solution of the rabbit difficulty, inasmuch as the carcasses can be preserved in any part of the country, irrespective of distance from a railway, and can.bo shipped direct to London
